The Association of Polish Knights of Malta UK (APKM UK) was established in the United Kingdom in May 2002. APKM UK operates as a British registered Charity (Reg. Charity 1102122) and its volunteers are an "extension" arm reaching out to young people, working together, with common systems, finances, pilgrimages to Lourdes and many other aid activities and care projects.
APKM UK Volunteers working in Wales APKM UK works towards the shared charitable objectives of the Polish Order of Malta in Poland carrying out its work for the sick, the needy and refugees without distinction, religion, race or age and fulfils its institutional tasks especially by carrying out Hospitalier works, including health and social assistance, as well as aiding victims of exceptional disasters.
The APKM UK Volunteers share these same goals and objectives working on a wide range of aid projects in Great Britain, France and Poland and welcomes new members who enjoy new challenges and want to make a worthwhile contribution in the wider community.
